Oh, the Black Knight. And the poor minstrels (And there was much rejoicing.. Yaayy!)...
And then all the great Frenchman lines. :D
And of course, "Run away!!"

This has got to be one of the greatest films of all time. I'm always quoting something from it. ANY fan of British humour, or comedy in general, MUST see it at least once!

Taunting Frenchmen....... Constitutional peasants..... closeted maidens who like being spanked......... and of course, The Knights Who Say Ni.
This film has hilarity and it has it in spades. Inspired lunacy in the best British tradition for inspired stupidity.
Even the opening credits get you giggling like a naughty schoolboy.... They start off being subtitled in faux Swedish, go from there to a description of how the title writer's sister carved her initials on the back of a moose, and somehow morph into Reg Llama of Brixton and 57 Mexican Whooping Llamas.... Only the Pythons could do it.
I saw this movie when it was first released. I must have seen it a hundred times since, and I still find new things to laugh at that I didn't notice before.
So remember, be careful if you ever visit Camelot. It is a silly place.posted 593 days ago -

They play up the stupid funny humor so much in this movie that it falls rather flat, and then never gets up!

This is definantly the best movie ever. Classic lines, but yet, has a witty humor on medieval and modern politics. "Oh, but you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you. But if I went 'round sayin' I was Emperor, just because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away." Hehehe, I love this movie.

my favorite quote from the movie is "you must cut down the mightiest tree in the forest...with...a herring!!!!!!" This movie was the best Monty Python that I've seen.

Funniest movie ever, and I'm absolutely sure about that. Some can stand up to it, but this movie dominates the genre of comedy.
Remember the number 496, for you will soon understand.
And by the way, "Running away, eh? You yellow bastard, Come back here and take what's coming to you. I'll bite your legs off!"
