April is the perfect girlfriend for guys who want a more “normal” superhero type girlfriend. While she doesn't possess any superhuman skills, she can kick ass with a katana and she knows how to hang with the guys. She’d be especially cool now that she’s finally ditched the yellow jumpsuit. Don’t get me wrong, though – a woman who feels comfortable wearing the same outfit every single day is awesome, because she’s really low maintenance. You're not gonna sit around for two hours waiting for this woman to get ready to go out!

She’s a gorgeous southern belle who can charm men with her feminine wiles and pick up a semi and chuck it through a building. Rogue would make an especially great girlfriend for any guy who wants to save himself for marriage — and after marriage too — because of the whole her touch is lethal thing. However, if the latest X-Men movie is anything to go by, she doesn’t have the no touching problem anymore. So go get her while it’s safe!

Storm would make a great girlfriend because she’s confident, sexy, and can control the weather. How many times have you had your weekend BBQ wrecked because the weather just wouldn’t behave? That wouldn’t be a problem if Storm was your girlfriend.

In addition to being attractive on the outside, Wonder Woman is beautiful on the inside. She’s virtuous, loyal, and stands up for what she believes in — perfect qualities in a girlfriend. Her accessories, however, leave something to be desired. You might want to steer clear of the Lasso of Truth, especially if you’re just getting back from a weekend in Vegas with the guys. And while it’s nice that she has a private jet, its invisibility would make joining the mile high club incredibly awkward.

Initially, she may not seem like the best girlfriend material. Who wants to date someone that can read your mind? Scary! However, the flipside is that with Jean Grey as a girlfriend, you’ll never have to answer that annoying question “Honey, what are you thinking?”

While most of us who saw the first Tomb Raider movie can think of two big reasons Lara Croft would make a great girlfriend, there is much more to this character than meets the eye. She’s super educated, cultured, and confident. Lara Croft is the perfect choice for a guy who wants brains and beauty. Oh yeah, did I mention she also looks an awful lot like Angelina Jolie?

She qualifies as a superheroine just because of her hairdo. Any woman who can wrestle that much hair into a couple of perfectly coiffed cinnamon buns during wartime is nothing short of super in my book. Though her strong willed, independent nature could make her a bit of a challenge at times, Leia would make a great girlfriend because of her compassion, loyalty, and sarcastic sense of humor.  And, of course, there is one final reason Leia would make an awesome girlfriend. Summed up in two words … metal bikini.
