Sharon Tate mini-bio: Sharon was born in 1943 in Dallas Texas. She died in 1969 in Los Angeles, California. Her films include "Eye Of The Devil" (1967), "Don't Make Waves" (1967), "The Fearless Vampire Killers" (1967),"Valley Of The Dolls" (1967), "The Wrecking Crew" (1969), and "12 + 1" (1970, released after her death). Sharon married film director Roman Polanski in 1968 and was 8 1/2 months pregnant when she was murdered by the Charles Manson Family in 1969. Sharon was taken away from us before you could really see where she was heading as an actress. Her greatest role was of the doomed starlet, Jennifer North, in " Valley Of The Dolls" (1967).

In my opinion, Sharon Tate was the most beautiful woman who ever lived. By all accounts, she was an incredibly kind and genuine person. She was also a gifted actress with a knack for both dramatic and comedic roles. Sharon is a true icon of the 1960's.

A good actress and a VERY beautiful young woman with her life cut tragically short by some real sickies (the Manson morons). She was engaging in "The Fearless Vampire Killers" and a real scene-stealing hoot (holding her own...as a klutzy agent trainee... against Elke Sommer's evil "Lenka") in the Dean Martin "Matt Helm" spy spoof "The Wrecking Crew". Truly a shame what happened to her, as there was the promise of a solid career there.
